Welcome to That’s What She Said Champaign-Urbana, where extraordinary stories take center stage, bringing together the women and community of Champaign-Urbana. Join us for our 11th show on February 7, 2026!
Our show brings together women from the local community to share their stories. Our mission is to bring these stories together into a one-night show that fosters a tighter-knit community, amplifies the voices of women in our community, and builds a space where we can be vulnerable, brave, and authentic.
About TWSS Champaign-Urbana
Our Director
Meet the driving force behind TWSS Champaign-Urbana and the whole She Said Movement, our amazing producer and the TWSS national director, Jenette Jurczyk. Jenette joined the She Said team in 2015 as Creative Director of the live shows in Champaign-Urbana. She couldn’t believe her luck that she found this amazing project that aligned with her passion for empowering women and her background in theatre and film. As National Director, Jenette’s vision is to grow The She Said Project into a national theatrical movement that provides a platform for women’s voices to be heard.
Our Charity Partner
We are also thrilled to announce that we are partnering with The Family Room & the Parkland Foundation Women of Impact.
The Parkland Foundation Woman of Impact is a grassroots giving circle of compassionate, diverse, and influential women dedicated to helping women students at Parkland College through scholarship support.
The Family Room is a Champaign-Urbana nonprofit bringing comfort and joy to children and families in the foster care system through donations of care packs and necessities.

That's What Teens Say
At TWSS Champaign-Urbana, we strive to take empowering women in our community to the next level by giving a platform for the women of tomorrow to share their voices. That’s What Teens Say Champaign-Urbana is a unique program designed for young women aged 13-18 in the Champaign-Urbana community, providing them with a unique opportunity to explore the power of their voice, connect with other teens, and get a chance to share their story from the stage for their friends and family.
As we gear up for the next installment of That’s What Teens Say, we invite you to nominate a teen girl in your life who you think would benefit from this transformative weekend. This empowering three-day workshop offers confidence-building exercises, creative writing activities, improv games, and more tools designed to help them realize the power that their voice can have.
